Requirements

Hands on Linux experience

RHCSA or LPIC certifications preferred.

Must have 4
years of technical experience administering computer systems

1
year administrating Linux computer systems.

Provide system administration of Linux-based computer systems, including installation, configuring, testing, and deployment of test, development, and operational workstations and servers.

Experience with configuration management tools; Bugzilla and Subversion

Bachelor's degree preferred
Responsibilities

Member of small team developing, deploying, and supporting operational systems

Evaluates security updates and patches, and deploy updates to operational systems.

Develop scripts to automate system administration tasks in shell, and optionally Perl and Python. Candidates will perform limited test activities including testing systems following system test plans and procedures, and creating test reports. They will create limited technical documentation including network diagrams and SOPs (with government guidance/approval).

Build, configure, and test computer servers and equipment racks of servers, and prepare them for deployment. This will include the installation of cables and equipment in equipment racks, development labs, and operational server rooms.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
