McAfee, Inc. has an opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer (Job Code I881454)position in our worksite at Beaverton, OR. Duties: Develop and maintain systems used to analyze and evaluate malware threats, and automate protection for McAfees customers. Work with McAfee Research and Product teams to develop the next generation of malware analysis tools. Design mission critical automation systems. Develop prototypes to aid in automated discovery and analysis of malware, as well as content generation systems to provide protection to customers. Work with engineering team to enhance throughput and effectiveness of existing systems. Work with Research team to create classification algorithms for new malware. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in software systems development, including programming in C# and in C or C++;
2. Automation in Windows-based applications;
3. Win32 API and Windows Driver;
4. Designing large scale applications and systems utilizing relational databases;
5. Virtualization and emulation;
6. Utilization of PE File Format;
7. Automation of Linux systems;
8. MS SQL and SQL reporting services;
9. Bash and Perl scripting.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
