POSITION SUMMARY
Performs clerical and receptionist duties within the department under the supervision of the Supervisor or designee. Obtains cardiac monitoring strips, recognizes Dysrhythmia and informs the nurse of any suspected changes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. BLS required; Completes orientation according to policy/procedures.
3. Previous experience preferred.
4. Successful completion of Connect Care Modules ED100 and ED 101 with minimum score of 84%
5. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Course within 3 months of hire
6. Crisis Intervention Training within one month of hire
7. Sufficient knowledge of English, Spelling, Math and Medical terminology. Good interpersonal skills.
