Paralegal needed for volume PIP/BI firm. Must be able to prepare and respond to multiple discovery requests. Must be able to maintain up to date status on discovery responses. Must have prior PIP experience and be able to handle a fast-paced environment with heavy caseload. Strong written and verbal skills necessary.
Job Requirements:
Applicant MUST have prior plaintiffs personal injury experience (at least4 years/+), and paralegal/legal education
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and handle a heavy case load.
Multitask while maintaining organization.
Client profiles/Aderant experience is a plus.
Must be professional and reliable.
Must have strong written excellent verbal communication skills.
Must be proactive, professional, highly motivated and a fast learner.
Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).
Must have prior experience in Personal Injury Protection Cases.
Must work well with colleagues - Have a positive attitude; can work independently and as part of a team.
Must have experience preparing witness and exhibit lists, preparing cases for trial and managing trial calendars.
Must be a quick learner and willing to work diligently to hit the ground running.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
