Description/Job Summary
MISSION STATEMENT:
Warehouse Technician will achieve accurate Warehousing, Shipping and Receiving performance for all business lines. Warehouse Technician will ensure that the company business goals of growth, market share, profitability and superior customer satisfaction are met.
Support the Aftermarket and Customer Service Manager, as well as the Service Manager/Maintenance Planner in performing business control tasks while being proactive to Ensure that action plans are in place when necessary.
GENERAL PURPOSE:
To provide and perform daily Warehousing, Shipping and Receiving functions.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
1. Participate in Company training and exercise superior levels of accuracy, safety and competence.
2. Ensure Orders are picked, packed and shipped accurately and completely as specified.
3. Ensure incoming Stock Replenishment shipments are received and stored within 24 hours.
4. Maintain Stock Locations in company inventory system: BPCS
5. Bill all shipments on a daily basis.
6. Load and unload freight, both inbound and outbound truck using a fork lift.
7. Print Sales Orders on a routine and timely basis throughout the day.
8. Ensure the Warehouse environment is maintained in a clean, organized and safe manner following established 5S guidelines.
9. Support and aid in the development of store continuous improvement efforts.
10. Perform minor building maintenance, as needed.
11. Participate in Physical Inventory Counts, as needed.
12. Work on special projects as needed and directed by the Aftermarket and Customer Service Manager
13. Ensure Timely delivery and tracking of incoming orders for the Service Department.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Communicate Administrative activities and work together to grow our business.
2. Prepare necessary information at the request of the Aftermarket and Customer Service Manager.
3. Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called upon to do so either by design or by circumstance.

Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge of email software; word processing software; spreadsheet software; Accounting software and Contact Management systems.
Must know how to operate a fork lift.
Abilities
Language Ability:
1. Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
2. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
Math Ability:
1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
2. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram or schedule form.
2. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/
Experience:
1. High school graduate.
2. Three years practical experience in Warehousing.
Certificates and Licenses:
Fork lift certification.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
