JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our team in our Adult Psychiatric Unit. This role will be responsible to ValleyCare Health System of Ohio for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. The Registered Nurse is responsible to Nursing Services for supporting the nursing philosophy and to provide high quality, comprehensive patient care. ValleyCare Health System of Ohio Registered Nurse is responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing. After orientation, up to six month's experience on this job is required to perform essential functions. Previous experience as an RN is required.
This position performs as a team leader of multi-skilled workers to accomplish plan of care for each patient. The RN leads multi-skilled team to provide high quality, cost effective, comprehensive patient care. This position independently, makes sound judgments and effective decisions relative to patient care. The Registered Nurse performs all skills on the Registered Nurse Equipment/Skills checklist and performs other duties as assigned.
Applicants are required to possess a current Ohio license as a registered nurse by the Ohio Board of Nursing. BLS is required for every RN. Specific areas will require specific qualifications.
Applicants must possess a broad knowledge in professional areas and in nursing. Knowledge of regulatory, legislative and JCAHO standards related to nursing is essential.
