F/T ERP Business Analyst (New Albany, OH) Deliver measured system cost benefits, improved processes, and improved user interface. Consult with management & internal customers in order to accurately analyze lean manufacturing techniques needed in relation to AX and Baan ERP systems. Research resource requirements using interviews, observations, data and analysis studies, and techniques. Supply most Tier II and all Tier III data problem resolution within AX and Baan ERP systems; categorize issue as system or user problem and identify program changes or user interface instructions to prevent error duplication. Define procedures within AX and Baan ERP systems. Create system manuals and training documents in accordance to company standard and TSO/ISO requirements. Conduct business process and system training sessions with corporate and facility staff. Complete and manage system changes including: (pooling business requirements from management, determine data source, complete validation, develop means of delivery, translate and distribute the functional design requirements to programming and coordinate to develop the change within the ERP system. Test functional changes, develop test cases for business unit deployment, create testing cases for the business lines, create user documentation and train users on new process and procedures. Participate in IT audits and coordinate SOX compliant system testing. Stay current regarding AX, Baan, and other ERP system applications available in the market, and new applications for potential company use. Utilize knowledge of: values of root cause analyses, service levels, and documentation; database applications, network environments, and report writers; ERP systems; Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Front Page, and Visio. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 8 years of experience in ERP analysis positions with the same duties in the manufacturing industry.
