A leading manufacturer of ceramic products is looking for a Ceramic Quality Specialist for their plant near Berrien Springs, MI (Southwest of Grand Rapids and North of South Bend). This is a hands-on position and the primary duties are to test and measure ceramic materials and parts, enter data into a QC tracking system and communicate the results to others within the organization. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Ceramic Technician or entry-level Ceramic Engineer to gain valuable experience in the ceramic industry and work towards promotion opportunities. A 2-year degree in Industrial Ceramics or similar is required, along with at least 2 years experience in a ceramic manufacturing environment. Less experience is required for candidates with a BS in Ceramic Engineering or Materials Science. Experience with basic ceramic processing (pressing, slip casting, screening, firing, etc) and testing of ceramics or minerals is required. Knowledge of Quality Control, statistics and QC software is strongly preferred. This is a hands-on position and a significant portion of time will be spent in the Lab performing tests and assisting in the running of trials. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
