Sr. Financial Analyst
conducts and documents complex financial analysis projects. Prepares financial and business related analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, costing, budgeting, rate of return, depreciation, and working capital. Responsible for developing accurate, timely and comprehensive financial reports for facilitating management decisions. Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas. Develops and recommends business policies, and conducts special financial and business related studies. Presents recommendations to management. May provide training or guidance to lower level Financial Analysts.
Some direct impact to financial strategy and activities. Works on complex tasks and/or projects.
Performs duties under minimum supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures. Interprets the financial strategy and aligns resources and people to meet strategy goals. Has appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decision.
This position requires that the successful candidate must be a lawful permanent resident or US Citizen.
Candidate Requirements:
4 year college degree or equivalent experience (Accounting, Business, Finance or CMA).
A minimum of 4-6 years accounting/finance experience is required.
Experience required in management reporting, financial reporting, and other varied financial disciplines.
Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills required.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
Knowledge of SQL and Hyperion Essbase preferred.
Must be able to represent the company well through interactions with senior business management, finance management, operations, sales and external customers.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Math, 4-6 years experience, or equivalent
