Responsible for monitoring hospital utilization of resources and coordinating and facilitating appropriate patient care services and operational resources to provide effective patient care. Promotes efficient, timely, cost effective discharge plans for patients.
Three (3) years of hospital nursing experience is preferred. Acute care utilization review, discharge planning or case management experience is preferred. Utilization Review or other inpatient Case Management certification preferred.
Experience and/or training of insurance benefits or covered services including Medicare and Medicaid preferred.
A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Three (3) years of RN experience required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
