POSITION
Summary: Performs a variety of duties including processing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, assembling surgical instrument sets and trays, distribution of patient care supplies and equipment. Assists with the orientation of new associates, functions as a resource person with knowledge about supplies and equipment.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of Sterile Processing Technician Course is preferred.
MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE: At least one year of Sterile Processing and/or Operating Room experience. One year experience with surgical instruments.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION: CRCST certification is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
