POSITION
Summary: The Clinical Documentation Specialist is responsible for reviewing
medical records to facilitate the accurate representation of the severity of illness. He/she is
involved in extensive record review, and interacts frequently with physicians, Health
Information Management (HIM) professionals and nursing staff of Tillamook Regional Medical
Center. Active participation in team meetings and education of staff is the clinical
documentation process is a key role.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
A. Education and Experience
1) Associate Degree in Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred.
2) Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
3) Recent hospital Experience preferably ICU, CCU, or strong Med/Surg; recent experience as a Clinical Documentation Specialist, including patient chart abstraction experience preferred.
4) Successful experience in developing a team, establishing performance goals and monitoring activity.
5) Experience performing analytical studies, obtaining resources and developing relationships to ensure results.
6) Experience with Cerner Project IntelliCare PowerChart, clinical documentation integrity software preferred.
7) Successful completion of Clinical Documentation Screening TestEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
