The overall objective is to hire an outstanding HR professional to lead the human resource function, to ensure full compliance with all Federal, state, and local HR requirements including timely and accurate reporting, to drive HR best practices, to deliver programs in support of corporate philosophy, and to participate as an active member of the leadership team. The lean organizational structure requires a self-starter who initiates, leads, and completes strategic projects, while valuing and performing ongoing administrative human resource tasks and activities as required. This individual must be a strategic leader and role model with personal and business integrity.
Responsibilities of the HR Manager will include, but are not limited to:
Directs the human resources function including recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, HR policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance with and meeting reporting requirements for OSHA, Workers' Compensation, AA/EEO, Veterans 100 filing, recruiting, Small Business Subcontracting, etc.
Develops and executes recruitment strategy to identify, attract and retain top talent.
Develops, updates, and implements all Human Resources templates, policies, practices and systems.
Ensures implementation of staff on-boarding, performance management, and training initiatives.
Participates in compensation and benefit surveys and analysis to ensure a competitive compensation and benefits to recruit and retain talent.
Utilizes HRIS to ensure that staffing levels are aligned with budgeted headcount and expenses.
Manages the benefits programs including medical and dental plans, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, etc. Lead the negotiation of benefits packages with outside vendors and administer the open enrollment process.
Provides support for employees on foreign assignment outside the US relative to benefits, logistics, etc.
Manages the 401k Plan Administrator role, and any other retirement planning programs.
Manages and resolves employee relations issues in a manner consistent with corporate culture and business needs
Leads internal investigations of complaints by or against employees.
Continually assesses and implements programs and initiatives that enrich the corporate culture and employee workplace experience
Provides counsel and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, practices and procedures
Monitors for changes and ensures full compliance with all Federal, state, and local employment laws
Develops HR budget and provides input to business planning
Qualifications
Proven track record in a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to HR management and administration with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices, along with state and Federal laws.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint and HRIS systems.

Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and must maintain this credential.
Master's degree required, preferably in a field related to HR.

years of human resource management experience, experience with a Government contractor is preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
