Required: Associate Degree and minimum of three years job-related experience. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), must be attained within one year of hire. High School diploma with 8
years job related experience would be acceptable in lieu of Associates degree.
Knowledge and experience in the field of credentialing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Healthcare experience, medical terminology, computer skills and knowledge of accredication standards. Responsible for ensuring the timely credentialing for all DCMH participating insurance payers. Participates in the various managed care networks in order to be in compliance with all regulatory agency requirements.
Monitor several matrixes for physician practices, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
