Briteside Adult Day Center is seeking a Program Aide to assist the Program Coordinator with the implementation and planning of the Center's daily activities and with the provision of care and supervision for the Center's participants. Works with other staff members to implement and carry out program activities and services which meet the needs of the individual participants. Additional assignments as required.
Active involvement in assisting and escorting participants to the bathroom, assists with ambulation transfer, moving chairs, bending, standing, carrying and reaching. Genuine interest in and understanding of the particular needs of the elderly. Ability to work as a team member with other staff.
High school graduation/GED. Certified Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant is required for this position. One or more years of experience in working with adults in a health care or social service setting.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
