The Endoscopy Staff Nurse takes care of patients with known or suspecting GI problems who are undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
Performs nursing assessments, plans and implements care
Assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to promote optimal patient outcomes by team collaboration during endoscopy procedure.
Performs care and maintenance of endoscopy unit equipment.Demonstrates competency in disinfecting endoscopes and performing endoscopy procedures
Qualifications Include: Applicant must be a Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing, current license to practice professional nursing in the State of New Hampshire. Must possess working knowledge of underlying principles and standards that satisfy regulatory requirements for the following entities: ASPAN, CDC, OSHA, CMS. Must be able to work in a fast paced. Ability to maintain customer focused interpersonal communications skills and patient confidentiality.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
