CAREER OPPORTUNITY FOR CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY:
ESTIMATORS / DESIGN CONSULTANTS / PURCHASING AGENTS & COORDINATORS
As a Community Set Up Manager you will manage and lead the proper set up of new communities (including mid/high rise communities) to ensure accurate and timely community setup; oversee the community change management process. Set up and maintain master data information pertaining to new community openings and design gallery product offerings in the computer system (Enterprise One). Manage and communicate community model option changes, model additions, model deletions, to Purchasing, Sales, Architecture, and Production. Create base and option proforma budgets by model per community and review for missing costing activities after contracts are set up. Set up and review structural and design options in the computer systems. Perform the administration steps in computer system (Sales 1440) for new communities, adding and/or updating Purchase and Sales Agreements, Division and community specific addendum created by Legal Department or Business Unit. Attend Community Planning Timeline (CPT) and/or related meetings for new community openings.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance or similar discipline preferred. 2-3 years of related experience in Purchasing in the construction industry neededresidential construction preferred. Strong data analysis skills using Excel are needed. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
Candidate must proactively face challenges while being committed to providing customers with excellent services and products. The capacity for directing others while under pressure and maintaining a high level of ethics and integrity in all dealings is a must. Strategic planning abilities, handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines and demonstrating good judgment and decision-making skills are necessities for this position. The candidate must have a proven track record of success in building effective teams and interpersonal relationships while steadfastly pushing self and others for results.
