Job Summary
Inspection, issuance and warehousing of military munitions.
Essential Functions
Performs inspections, issues, stores and transports explosives, water gel, charge Demo M112 Comp 4, charge Demo block TNT, charge Demo Semtex, Ammonia Nitrate, dynamite, Flares surface and aircraft related counter measure (CM) flare requirements and small arms.
Requisitions and maintains on hand stock of munitions requirements for Security Force Air Base Defense Munitions, Peacetime Arming Needs and Mobility unit tasking comment (UTCs) of base's Mobility forces.
Performs all munitions accountability, inventory actions to include historical records IAW AFI 21-201 and 11A-1-10 and other applicable tech data.
Oversees munitions production and materiel tasks and activities.
Identifies munitions and equipment requirements.
Operates the Combat Ammunition System (CAS) to perform munitions accounting, computations, and research. Stores, maintains, assembles, and issues nonnuclear munitions.
Warehousing duties require an understanding of the munitions storage plan and involves the following work: verifying munitions assets against receiving documents; noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
Operation of hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Receives stores, inspects, test, transports, and maintains U.S. Air Force (USAF) Munitions, Munitions Material Handling Equipment (MMHE), and supporting resources as applicable to the Site.
Operates Combat Ammunition System on a daily basis.
Responsible to perform all assigned duties as safely and efficiently as possible to maintain a safe work environment in accordance with all applicable rules and standards including, but not limited to, OSHA and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Codes and Standards.
Required to comply with PPE requirements and standards.
Must be able to troubleshoot and identify problems.
Schedules work and verifies quality of work performed.
Read, understand and interpret Air Force Manuals, Governing supply systems, policies, rules, warehouse programs, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or established guidelines.
Read, understand, and interpret CSC methods and established guidelines.
Accomplishes periodic inspections, recurring maintenance requirements and associated documentation. Maintains systems to conform to written guidance and applicable changes.
Maintains records to conform to written guidance and applicable changes.
Maintains required forms and records and assures proper use.
Requires working scheduled and unscheduled overtime work including areas other than respective assignment.
Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional and mission requirements.
Position is classified as mission essential and requires employee to shelter at work site and respond to disasters and other contingency operations.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of college education.
Must possess and have ability to maintain valid MS Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazmat endorsements.
Must have ability to maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance.
Four years of United States Air Force Supply experience and education.
Must meet qualifications of the Lautenberg Amendment and the Gun Control Act, Title 18, U.S.C., 922 and 1001.
Proficient knowledge of the USAF Supply and Tech order system.
Must meet USAF Munitions Inspector prerequisites IAW 11A-1-10 and AFI 21-201.
Must have at least 2 years experience as Munitions Inspector.
Minimum four years experience with military munitions with Combat Ammunition Systems (CAS), CAS accountability and document control process and procedures.
Minimum of four years experience with military munitions inspection procedures, storage and maintenance of munitions and munitions warehousing.
Must be graduate of formal USAF military munitions storage training course.
Must have proof of award of Special Experience Identifier (SEI) Code 836.
Physically capable of performing all required duties; must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs and perform extensive work using handling/lifting equipment.
Basic knowledge in Inventory Management or related field preferred.
Knowledgeable of the USAF Supply and Tech Order Systems
Must have experience with USAF Supply Processes both inter and intra supply.
Must have experience in USAF Supply Customer Service, Inventory, Procedures, Stock Control and Equipment Management.
Experience working with procurement practices.
Experience working with DOD sources of supply.
Must be able to comply with PPE requirements and standards.
Must possess valid State Driver's License; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a United States Government and/or United States Air Force vehicle driver's license.
Must have favorable National Agency Check (NACI).
Must have ability to meet the requirements for issuance of a computer network account (favorable National Agency Check and successfully complete computer security training) and any required security clearances including flight line access.
Ability and willingness to work as a member of a team.
Must have proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Negotiating skills to interact with customers.
Ability to understand financial analysis and implications with regard to contracts and suppliers.
Computer skills required to include: ability to utilize computer automated systems to perform assigned duties including: Microsoft Office Suite, planning, ordering materials, TLS timesheets, and email functions.
Able to stand or sit for long periods of time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
