Job Title: Pricing Coordinator
FLSA Status: Hourly
Reports to: Store Director/Department Director
Responsible for working closely with all Pricing associates, vendor partners, Store Directors and Festival team members in an effort to ensure all company policies and procedures are being followed. Will provide controlled processes and procedures to ensure department goals and objectives are being obtained. Contributes to store profitability by effectively managing all aspects of pricing department operations, to include but not limited to: price changes, ad displays and item price verification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leads, coaches, teaches and reinforces Festival culture, customer service, and performance expectations to all pricing associates.
Maintains adequate staff levels by interviewing applicants and extending job offers
Trains new pricing associates
Finalizes and approves weekly work schedule for pricing associates
Writes and conducts performance reviews of pricing associates
Documents violations of company policies/procedures by pricing associates and conducts appropriate corrective action, up to and including termination
Is an advocate of community among peers
2. Ensures all department standards are being met in the pricing department.
Communicates and works cooperatively with Store Director, department managers, vendors and pricing associates to maintain standards and exceed guest expectations
Execute best practices both verbally and written as outlined in the pricing manual
Monitor verification and review all errors found
Ensure weekly verifications are complete and fill in during their absence
3. Provides customer service to guests.
Assists guests with finding items they are looking for while on the sales floor
Answers the telephone and assists callers using proper phone etiquette.
Addresses guest concerns and resolves issues when a guest is not satisfied.
4. Assists all department associates with daily responsibilities while leading by example.
5. Develops assistant department manager and/or department leads to prepare for advancement opportunities.
6. Contributes to overall cleanliness of the department by picking up, organizing, and cleaning work areas.

High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle situations.

WORK SCHEDULE
The Pricing Coordinator will be required to work full time, 40 hours per week, with an allowable five hours of overtime. The work schedule will include a minimum of two Sundays per month alternating with the Pricing Assistant.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
