Position Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will supervise and schedule the maintenance of all plant systems. In addition, the Supervisor will supervise preventative maintenance program and coordinate work that is contracted to outside companies.
Responsibilities
Communicate and work with Production and other departments to address issues/problems with operating systems.
Deploy and utilize maintenance employees to ensure effective and efficient operation.
Ensure maintenance personnel are cross trained on equipment.
Monitor and implement department work habits in compliance with good GMPs.
Coordinate and schedule work orders and necessary maintenance personnel.
Identify reoccurring equipment breakdowns and develop methods and modifications to prevent downtime.
Troubleshoot plant systems as necessary.
Monitor the preventative maintenance program to make sure equipment is serviced with its recommended time frame.
Contact contractors to schedule repairs and installations.
Research price and availability of new and replacement parts.
Ensure that upgrades are performed on existing equipment.
Install new software and/or machine codes.
Schedule down time to repair machinery.
Handle emergency repairs during production.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or commensurate experience.
3 years of maintenance experience and/or training or more.
Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes.
Broad depth of experience and knowledge of production machinery and equipment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.
Ability to read/understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
3 years of food manufacturing experience or more.
Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems / PSM.
Working Conditions
Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 65-100 degrees F.
Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required.
Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder, shoulder-to-overhead and pushing/pulling/carrying.
Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.
Product weight: up to 100 lbs.
Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors or other motorized vehicles in tight quarters.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
