This position will be responsible for and troubled debt restructuring accounting and other accounting processes as needed. This role will be significantly involved in the monthly closing process and the monthly and quarterly SEC and Regulatory Reporting.
This position will be responsible for SEC and Regulatory reporting, preparing and analyzing accounting trends, implementing new accounting policies, identifying and implementing process improvements, creating robust accounting analyses and working with other complex accounting issues, as requested.
This role will also be a team leader in special projects to integrate and enhance current systems and processes. The individual will communicate with various groups across the firm and will need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry is highly desired.
Basic Qualifications

years accounting experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting or business related field
- 2
years of SEC and Regulatory reporting experience
- 2
years of public accounting experience
- 2
years of control environment process analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to build strong partnering relationships
- Strong knowledge of Excel
Preferred Skills
- CPA/MACC/MBA

- Strong knowledge of Access, Essbase, IRIS and EagleEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
