What are the job responsibilities? Operations Coordinators have a variety of responsibilities. These may include:
-Indexing and preparing incoming paperwork to be sent for processing
-Reviewing paperwork for accuracy / good order.
-Processing distributions, ACH / wire transactions, journal entries, ACAT transfers and other transactions
-Working with sales representatives and internal business partners to resolve NIGO issues.
-Researching and resolving issues.
-Fielding inbound calls from ING Sales Representatives and Clients.
-Executing securities trades and providing quotes.
-Explaining trade procedures to callers.
-Building new accounts.
-Granting systems access.
Who is our ideal candidate? Our ideal candidate is a high performer who has consistently demonstrated the following:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including over the phone. Previous phone experience a plus.
- FINRA 6, 7, 63 or 24 licenses are a plus.
-Series 7 required within six months of date of hire.
- Excellent customer focus and customer service skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Operational experience within a broker-dealer.
- Experience working with brokerage platforms. Experience working with Pershing / NetX360 preferred.
- Excellent problem solving skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
