WorkMed is a department of St Mary''s Health System in Lewiston, ME. WorkMed provides dynamic and comprehensive Occupational Health Services to approximately 1,800 hospital employees, as well as approximately 130 local employers representing 4,000-5,000 employees in the Androscoggin County area. We are seeking an RN whose focus will be providing occupational and employee health nursing services to a comprehensive and integrated Occupational Health Program, including patient care and appropriate referral, on-site nursing services, nurse case management, ergonomic assessment, prevention and educational programs. In addition to Hospital Employee Health, WorkMed offers full occupational health services to area businesses by developing on-site risk management programs for clients to assess, evaluate, treat and prevent work-related injuries, case management, provide ergonomic evaluations and other OSHA mandated surveillance and prevention programs.
Certifications or training are in the following are preferred:
Certified Occupational Health Nurse, Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist, Federal DOT Urine Drug collection, Breath Alcohol testing, and
Pulmonary Function / Spirometry certification.
A minimum of two years of experience in Occupational Health is preferred.
Valid Maine RN license and current CPR card required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
