Hours: 40 hours per week/ 2100-0700/every third weekend-holiday
Job Details:
Collects blood specimens for testing, as ordered by physicians, following established procedures and standards. Performs a variety of computer terminal operations, customer inquiry telephone services and receptionist duties. Receives, processes and handles specimens according to established procedures. Provides age-specific care as required.
Qualifications/Competencies
Valid Driver''s license required.
PBT(ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire.
Medical Terminology to be acquired upon hire if not obtained prior to hire.
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of course in health care and/or clerical/secretarial field preferred.
Up to 1 year of experience preferred.
Computer literacy and word processing preferred.
