SENIOR IT SECURITY ANALYST (INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES)
Principal Responsibilities
Conduct security reviews for project proposals, business requirements and infrastructure designs
Perform security assessments of the existing environments (including systems, infrastructure, common protocols)
Work with other IT teams in order to design and develop security solutions
Evaluate new threats and vulnerabilities for their relevance to the company?s infrastructure and systems
Support internal vulnerability scanning and facilitate external risk assessments and penetration testing activities
Develop and track security policies, standards, and processes
Support security incident management activities
Review production changes for security adherence against agreed policy and best practices
Liaison with Security Operations Centers for monitoring and resolution of related events
Support external and internal audit activities
Provide direct support to the business and IT staff for security-related issues, which may include out-of-hours support
Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of focused experience in IT Security, with at least 10 years in IT, preferably in the Financial Services industry
Comprehensive knowledge of network security concepts and best practices in a Microsoft/VMware/Linux environment
Detailed knowledge of the following technologies, protocols and tools advantageous
o Network security experience ideally Cisco, Checkpoint, Blue Coat technologies/platforms
o Network Protocols, IDS/IPS, encryption techniques
o Common Operating Systems (Linux/Unix/Microsoft)
o IDS/IPS
o VPN
o NAC solutions and vendors
o BYOD
o Virtualization technologies and common platforms
o Public and Private Cloud technology and providers (e.g. Amazon AWS)
o Access control, identity management and authentication systems
o SIEM (Security Incident and Event Monitoring) products and solutions
o Malware detection
In-depth working knowledge of network and security architecture and operations and Information Security monitoring systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of personnel both internally and externally
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously working with minimal supervision
Proven analytical, reasoning and organizational skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
