ER Associates is recruiting for a Manager of Accounting Solutions with a CPA to join a dynamic team of professionals. Our client is a growing organization that is a leader in their industry. The successful candidate will have proficiency in planning, prioritization, strong attention to detail and project management experience.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Manager of Accounting Solutions willwork to ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and company policies and procedures, within both the Finance Shared Services organization and the business units. They will drive best practice through research, standardization, and awareness among business constituents. The Manager will be provide accounting support for complex business transactions and technical accounting activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
Accounting Solutions team, such as M&A activity, contract review and restructuring
Provide accounting support for complex business transactions, such as intercompany funds flow and equity transactions
Assist with the coordination of internal and external audits
Participate in and lead projects from an accounting perspective that arise as a result of business requirements, such as implementation of new software or process improvements
Create or revise and implement accounting policies and procedures, with appropriate documentation and business controls both within the Finance Shared Services organization and business units
Implement new accounting pronouncements, including providing user training and ensuring that software is revised as necessary
Provide oversight and governance related to the general ledger, including chart of accounts, business units, companies, etc.
Provide support to Accounting Services team with regards to process improvements
Integration of acquired companies
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting required, MBA strongly preferred
CPA certification required

years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience with progressive responsibility and experience in the accounting function
Proficiency with personal computers and associated word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software; experience with JD Edwards general ledger system and HFM consolidation tool a plus
Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
