Summary:
Under the general direction of the Patient Accounts Operations Manager, and the direct supervision of the Patient Accounts Supervisor or Registration Supervisor, the Patient Accounts Representative registers new patients, updates demographic and insurance information on existing patients, collects date of service and patient accounts receivable, and provides an explanation and interpretation of Clinic billing policies and the patient''s statement or account.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. One year of related experience preferably in patient accounts activities or collections and knowledge of computerized systems required. Ability to handle conflict and effectively interact with customers concerning sensitive matters, and maintain the Clinic''s image as a warm and caring provider of health care services.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
