JOB TITLE: SAW OPERATOR SHIFT: 2ND
DEPARTMENT: TRUCK SCALES
REPORTS TO: TRUCK SCALES MANAGER
PAY STATUS: NON-EXEMPT HOURLY GROUP: MFG
BASIC FUNCTION
Performs all operations of CNC cutoff saws within product quality, efficiency and safety standards. Cleans up all tooling, machinery, and work areas when finished with each job. Notifies the supervisor of any equipment or tooling that is damaged or not working properly. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, HSED).
Some experience setting-up and operation of CNC cutoff saws.
Skills
Good basic hand tools skills.
Good measuring equipment including calipers, tape measure, steel rule, squares, and other measuring equipment skills.
Good blueprint reading skills.
Good verbal communication skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Training, or Other Job-Related Requirements
Complete in-house training on forklift safety and operation.
