As a business partner and member of project/program teams, proactively provide financial guidance, direction, services, and products to Site Manager, Business Development, Estimating and Contracts, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality in support of estimating, pricing, and proposals, including CAS compliance checklists; funding profiles and termination liability schedules; contract formation, negotiation, and acceptance; contract management, including baseline financial plan, financial performance status reports with variance analysis, risk identification and management, estimates to complete and estimates at completion, corrective action planning and implementation, requests for additional incremental funding or out of scope funding, customer data items, and cost-type billings; and completed order reconciliation, close out, and lessons learned documentation to achieve order profit and cash goals and drive sustainable, profitable growth.

As a member of the finance team, develop, translate, integrate, and consolidate project/program data into plans (Strategic, Five Year, Annual Operating, and Business) and forecasts as well as business and functional key indicators and metrics to drive fact-based, informed decisions; achieve sustainable, profitable growth; and facilitate continuous improvement across the business. Maintain cost accounting system and manage all aspects of project/program cost accounting to ensure compliance and accuracy in cost of revenue and profit that flows to the financial statements. Recommend changes needed and drive implementation of changes from business partner, customer, process/product improvement, and compliance perspectives.

As a business stakeholder, partner with the Site Manager to drive the strategic, five-year, and annual planning processes, including annual quarterly forecasts and latest views, including leading multi-functional preparation of detailed, phased plan for bookings, sales, costs of sales, gross profit/margin, G&A, IR&D, B&P, operating profit/margin, return on sales, headcount, and capital as well as supporting labor, labor overhead, G&A, and COM rates. Support identification and assessment of risks and opportunities as well as gap recovery initiatives to ensure achievement of plan. Provide financial analysis and advice to support informed business investment decisions.

As the compliance champion, ensure business is conducted in a manner compliant with LightWorks Optical Systems and II-VI company policies and guidelines, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), federal acquisition regulations (FAR), defense FAR, and cost accounting standards (CAS) and ensure requirements are built into the business' day-to-day operations. Act as the lead interface and ensure satisfactory results for all internal and external audits.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Related Area
Experience:
Minimum seven years in manufacturing environment
Five of seven years in aerospace and defense (A&D) manufacturing environment (FAR/DFAR/CAS) a plus
Experience at $20M-$50M business or business unit of larger manufacturing companies
Experience in accounting, financial planning, and project/program controls - operational finance
Experience as a positive impact individual, independent contributor as well as a team advisor and leader

Position Accountability:
Responsible for current, accurate, complete, timely, business partner/customer-focused project/program financial information, which includes the accuracy and integrity of accounting data and the translation of raw accounting data into meaningful, insightful, and actionable management information. Responsible for being a champion of and contributor to continuous measurableEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
