We have immediate openings for a Project Manager position. Candidates must be self-starters, productive, and highly organized.
The Project Manager is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Reviews project plans, specifications, and standard specifications and soils report.
Review Estimate.
Prepare project budget
Prepare purchase orders and sub-contract agreements.
Prepare and Review project video / pictures prior to start of construction for any changes in conditions that are not noted on project plans.
Review any revised / approved plans, note changes, and submit changes to the owner / GC
Prepare project schedule, and update as required.
Prepare SWPP plans, traffic plans, excavation plans, JHA's, MOP's, etc., as required.
Develop a construction cost reduction plan with Superintendent.
Prepare project submittals for PPI and Sub-Contractors. Maintain log in job file
Prepare project RFl's and maintain log in job file.
USA job sites, refresh USA as needed, and maintain log.
Distribute plans & specs to subcontractors.
Schedule and attend job start meeting with Estimator, PE, Superintendent, and Foreman (if available), prior to job start. Ensure that everyone clearly understands the work, schedule, and production rates required to complete the project at or below budgeted cost.
Coordinate with PPI Superintendent job related materials delivery in a timely manner.
Coordinate with Subcontractors Superintendent for timely coordination of work.
Attend weekly job site meetings, if applicable.
Prepare project related correspondence, and log in job file
Monitor overtime -No overtime to be performed by crews without prior approval by superintendent and project manager.
No performance of extra work, without a written directive or approval from an authorized owner's representative.
Process and analyze the project reports and production, collect all data to determine whether or not the project is deviating from the planned schedule or rate of production and if the deviation is the result of issues that require a change order or submission of a Notice of Potential Claim.
Generate a new cost code for any extra work, or potential extra work, inform Foreman of correct code.
Track extra work labor hours, equipment hours, and materials used. Collect extra work field tags and ensure that the owners representative is signing the tags.
Review daily timecards from field personnel. Insure the time card is accurately filled out for hours, cost codes and quantity of materials used.
Review hours and quantities for PPI work in HCSS Heavy Jobs to evaluate job costs vs. budget and if costs exceed budget, ensure corrective action is taken to return project to budget.
Ensure time cards are approved and submitted to Accounting by 10:00 am the same day you received. Ensure all previous week's time cards are submitted no later than 10:00 am Monday morning.
Prepare weekly cost to complete reports.
Negotiate & track project extra work costs
Negotiate change orders and project back charges, if applicable.
Create project progress payments.
Maintain project red-line as-builts'.
Ensure project is conforming to project specifications at all times.
Foster good relations with project owner.
Work and communicate closely with Superintendents and Foreman to ensure a successful project.
Maintain project pictures for PPI records
Promptly submit all close out documents including as-builts, warranty letters, O & M manuals, etc. required to complete the project
Do whatever it takes.
Education Requirements
5 to 7 years of construction Project Management experience. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
