POSITION DUTIES: Provide embedded value reporting and GAAP and STAT Financial projections. Responsible for traditional reinsurance pricing. Perform in-force block pricing and due diligence. Perform structured transactions and securitization work. Conduct experience studies for revising projection assumptions.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Actuarial Science or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include: life insurance industry experience; experience with different Reinsurance methods; product knowledge of traditional individual life insurance, universal life, deferred annuities; actuarial projection systems; Market Consistent Valuation; and coding and running new business and in-force models; product knowledge of EIUL, VUL, LTC and embedded value work. Must be a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).
