Understands the basics of information Security controls, in particular in the context of regulatory compliance requirements (PCI, GLBA, SOX).
Possess a broad understanding of security best practices, principles & theories which should be applied in a rigorous & fast-paced environment
We expect the candidate to demonstrate an ability to quickly learn new processes and software in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. He or she is organized and stress resistant, and demonstrated his or her capability to work smoothly within a team based environment. He or she can utilize MS Office tools efficiently. Above all, he or she is a critical thinker who can creatively analyze existing processes, identify redundancies or inefficiencies as well as control shortcomings, and effectively summarize conclusions to management.
Education
BS Degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Audit or equivalent combination of experience and formal education
focused on the relationship with customers as they are seeking resolution or assistance with issues regarding access management, identity management, threat management, awareness, sensitive data protection as well as creating and fostering a robust control environment within Information Security.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
