Define solution approach, including domain definition, boundary conditions, and analysis tools for engineering problems related to fluid mechanics and thermal analysis
Execute analysis tasks to plan using hand calculations and computer-aided engineering tools for steady state and transient analyses. Tasks will include model creation, analysis, and solution post-processing.
Make technical recommendations based on engineering judgment and interpretation of analysis results.
Document work performed and results in written and/or presentation format.
Interface with internal and customer technical points of contact throughout the duration of the assigned tasks
Define, document, and implement technical process improvements to retain state of the art capability within the engineering center.
Follow all regulatory and company procedures, including thorough recording of all work to ensure task traceability

Qualifications
1-5 year experience in the CFD service
BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency with commercial CFD tools for grid generation, solution, and post-processing is required. Familiarity with ANSA, CFX, ICEM-CFD, GridPro, Star CCM
preferred.
Exposure to theAutomotiveindustry is highly preferred
Understanding of Programming Logic required, to create macros and sub-routines (e.g., FORTRAN, C/C++, Perl, VBA)
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel, required
Project Management experience is a plus

Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
