Job Description:
Daily fabrication of heavy duty steel tube, angle, I-Beam & flat bar down to light gauge sheet metal, per blue print specification. We are hiring for one person to join our Main Frame Department, which builds the general structure of the machine. Our Platen department which builds a motor driven frame that moves up & down on gear racks needs a solid welder. We also have two openings in our Fabrication department which builds ovens, doors & guards along with being responsible for all conduit, plumbing & clamp frame. MAAC only offers full time employment, working from Monday through Friday & we currently have first shift (7:00-3:30) & second shift (3:30-12:00) job openings. Saturdays are used when overtime is required.
Welder Job Requirements:
Must be able to read a tape measure up to 1/32 will be tested before hired
Must be able to pass a Mig Welding test
Exp with cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping & torching steel
Optional Requirements (that would help):
Experience with forklifts & over head crane
Electro-Static Painting
Knowledge of Plumbing
Running & bending conduit lines
Welder Rate: Starting rate is $12-16/hour
