Managed care and commercial collections using an electronic worklist and automated assignment.
Does not include selfpay, Medicare or Medicaid collections.
Average number of accounts assigned per collector is 800-1000.
Responsible for touching each account once every 21 days in a dual manner: a)efficiently in order to maintain productivity goals and more importantly b) effectively so that this means the account will resolve and payment will be made promptly.
### Skills / Requirements
Minimum 1-3 years related experience, facility experience a plus. Ability to read and understand an explanation of benefits. Familiar with UB billing forms and CPT codes.
