Summary:Performs the primary functions of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients in their department.Expected to serve as charge nurse as assigned.
Qualifications:2-year/Associate''s Degree. Current license with SC State Board of Nursing. Minimum of 2 years of experience required.Charge nurse experience required for med/surg track. Must have high level of confidentiality.
OSHA Category:Regularly exposed to risk of bloodborne diseases (Category I). May be exposed to chemical hazards on a regular basis (Category B).
Physical Requirements:Exert over 100 lbs. force occasionally, and/or over 50 lbs. frequently, and/or over 20 lbs. constantly. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking. Perform repetitive tasks/motions. Must be able to distinguish colors. Must pass fit test for respirator.
