This position handles Third Party Liability, Workers Compensation and other subrogation recovery cases. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
This position will assist in handling Third Party Liability, Workers Compensation and other subrogation recovery cases. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Initiates calls to groups, insurance companies, attorneys, subscribers and others as necessary to complete subrogation recovery of potential third party accidents and work related injuries.
Responds to subscriber and group inquires regarding information on injury claims.
Works with subrogation staff, other departments and outside clients to assist with the recovery process.
Prepares communications.
Reviews diagnostic and procedure codes to determine claims relevant to each case.
Assists with special projects.
Job Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 6 months telephone inquiry experience
Any combination of education and/or experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
BA/BS degree is preferred
Health insurance experience
Property casuality background preferred
Claims experience
Worked in a doctors office experience
