Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst. The primary purpose of this position is to gather and document business requirements to support development and enhancements of Oracle Retail Merchandising Suite (RMS). The Business Analyst is responsible for developing a deep knowledge of supported business areas, conducting business requirement sessions, documenting current and to-be process flows and creating detailed requirements documents to support development. In addition, the Business Analyst will support testing by creating test cases and assisting with the quality assurance process. Lastly, a portion of this position will support the business areas in regards to the systems created.
The Senior Business Analyst will document current and to-be process flows to understand and examine business processes. This position will document user roles, use cases, edit rules, wireframes and other system specifications in detail, as well as conduct requirements sessions with business users and subject matter experts. The Senior Business Analyst will provide guidance in formulating new requirements and aim to improve business processes by coming up with creative and alternative approaches to solving business problems. S/He will manage scope and user expectations by ensuring requirements can be met within existing project budgets and timeframes.
This individual will also assist Project Managers in the management of project deadlines and schedules. The Senior Business Analyst will identify and understand business strategy, issues and opportunities and assist business partners in identifying and prioritizing new initiatives and capabilities. In addition, this position will work and/or lead efforts with other IT groups and/or business users to ensure business requirements are met, including problem resolution and systems testing. S/He will assist in developing test cases and participate in the quality assurance process to ensure that requirements are properly implemented. This position will assist in producing user training documentation and work with the business to train users.
Bachelor''s degree
Experience with the full implementation cycle of Oracle Retail Merchandise Suite (RMS) Applications - Version 13 or higher
Familiarity with the Oracle Data Model
Strong experience across the Oracle Retail Merchandising Suite which includes: RMS, Foundation, Purchase Order, Item, Deals, Transfers, and RPM
Working experience in QC/ALM and should be very strong in testing process -metrics etc.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Oracle Retail Merchandising Suite (RMS) and knowledgeable of the relationships on other Oracle Retail Applications (RPM, Allocation, etc.)
Ability to lead the conceptual/detailed design sessions and CRP to review the client's business process definition, organization structure and KPIs.
Determine how best to utilize Oracle Retail Solutions and come up with creative and innovative ideas to meet clients changing business needs.
4 to 6 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role
Demonstrated experience documenting use cases and functional requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong business acumen

Qualifications:
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project
Working Knowledge of SQL
