We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our Chapel Hill, NC office. The Engineer will use his or her experience to design electrical systems for complex building types as well as gather information from users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.
Qualified candidates will have:
Minimum of 4 years of electrical design experience in a consulting firm
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering required
Proficiency with Autocad and/or Revit required
Understanding of applicable building codes
Specification knowledge
Independent judgment
Responsiveness
Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
Ability to coordinate with team members, other disciplines, architects and clients
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Construction administration and cost estimating experience
Generator systems design experience
Other systems knowledge include: IT, fire alarm, lighting controls, LEED
