Key Responsibilities
Advanced Software Engineers conduct or participate in the research, design and development of systems software, software applications and/or tools for new programs and subprograms. Responsibilities also include enhancements, modifications and corrections to existing software. In addition, these employees are responsible for coding, testing, integrating and documenting software solutions.
Candidates will be supporting reasearch and development of cloud computing technologies to further our advanced analytics environment and activity-based intelligence cababilities
Additional Responsibilities
Developing and documenting new analytic techniques and workflows using multi-sources, multi-INT data
Understand analysts in data curation and preparation.
Capture user needs (Intelligence operators and analysts) and tradecraft issues to the development team.
Assist in the evaluation, analysis, and fusion of data from multiple sources, including geospatial
Design, development, and testing of new statistical and visualize the statistical results
Gather user feedback ahead of sprint meetings for the development team.

The Advanced Software Engineer position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area or equivalent field and five to eight years of related experience; or masters degree and three to five years of related experience.
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Additional qualifications include:
Experienced developer with a multi-INT or all source Intelligence background. Proficient in utilizing advanced geospatial and multi-source intelligence applications to support analytical efforts and product development of any of the following: IBM SPSS, ArcGIS, Web Fishtools, PMAA, PRISM, GIMS, Analyst Notebook, Palantir, M3, RemoteView, SocetGXP, NES, MIST/FADE, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Word).
Experience with data analysis and visualization, including dashboards
Experience with SAS, SPSS, R or similar data programming language/environment
Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS
Experience with the testing, development, integration, and evaluation of new equipment/systems. Experience using advanced statistical analytics and data visualization tools to derive new insights from large volumes of data aka Big Data.
