The Harris Products Group, a growing industrial products company, is looking for a Quality Manager to join our team in Mason, Ohio to lead the Quality team in developing specifications and process improvements as well as auditing the current processes in manufacturing with safety as an overarching priority.
Work for a worldwide leader in the design and production of gas welding and cutting equipment. With locations around the globe, the Harris Products Group, headquartered in Mason, Ohio and a subsidiary of Lincoln Electric, manufactures welding consumables, gas apparatus and other specialty products.

We are looking for a Quality Manager to manage a team of 4-8 in developing specifications and process improvements as well as auditing the current processes in manufacturing with safety as an overarching priority. This role will oversee implementation and maintenance of all aspects of the Quality systems, including Lean Six Sigma program, ISO 14001 and 9001 systems, supplier audits, staffing, and training. In addition to technical competence in metals casting, wire fabrication, and continuous improvement, you must have the leadership skills to take ownership of projects and problems to get them resolved. You must be able to work effectively with multiple departments in the company, and be a self-directed, innovative leader who can handle multiple priorities. If you have the ability to lead, coach, develop, and manage to build employee engagement and drive performance and results, this job is for you!
Qualified candidates should have a BS degree in Engineering, Material Science, Business, or related field plus a minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Management and the ability to design and execute DOE, Measurement Analysis, and FMEAs. We are seeking individuals with experience implementing cellular manufacturing and Lean tool use, selection, and application in a manufacturing environment. Must be a self-directed, innovative leader with the ability to communicate with plant personnel at all levels.
