Responsibilities:

We are seeking graduate or undergraduate engineering students who are energetic and creative self-starters to serve as engineering student interns. Opportunities exist for software, electrical, and mechanical engineering disciplines.
During this internship, students will work closely each other and with seasoned engineers on meaningful projects that expose them to leading edge wireless technology and the teams who deliver outstanding products and services to our customers.
The software candidates should have strong interests in developing embedded software, OO design techniques, and user interfaces (Windows, Android) to control/monitor our solutions. Electrical candidates should have digital, analog, &/or RF design interests. Mechanical candidates should have interest in designing with 3D CAD, thermal analysis tools, and working through the equipment fabrication process. Additional knowledge areas could include:
cellular technology (GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE), communications protocol programming, design patterns, embedded SW development, Linux-based s/w development, Windows user interfaces, and Android application development. The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills.

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (US citizenship is a prerequisite)
Rising college junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in EE, ME, CS or Computer Engineering
Software interests such as C++, C, Java, OOD, embedded software development, experience with various SW development environments
Electrical interests such as digital board, FPGA, DSP, analog, power supply design, &/or RF design
Mechanical interests such as developing with Autocad/SolidWorks, thermal analysis, equipment manufacture/fabrication
Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
Minimum program commitment is 8 weeks
