Legrand has a great opportunity for an Engineering Intern in our New London, CT location. The Engineering Intern will be responsible for assisting the Copper Engineering group in the development, design, and testing of new and existing products.

Currently enrolled in- or recently completed BSME or BSEE.
Creative approach to problem solving based on solid theoretical engineering skill.
Willing to provide engineering support required to sustain current product offering as well as evaluate new product designs. This includes performing product testing in the laboratory.
Proficiency in SolidWorks which includes the development of assemblies using part models of components is preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have an acceptable level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to contribute to several projects at a time.
Prepare written and verbal reports.
Conduct engineering studies/investigations.
Preferred but not required is familiarity with usage of a network analyzer, hand held cable analyzer (i.e. Fluke), and multimeter
