Case Manager Team Lead

Position Description
Will act as Team lead for a group of Case Managers. The Lead will work as a Case Manager as described below, but will also provide additional support for the Supervisor, helping to monitor production and distribute work and acting as a back-up to the Supervisor as needed.
Position Requirements
1. Has proven leadership skills and positive attitude, capacity to make sound and effective decisions while demonstrating a high energy level, and have the ability to tailor phone demeanor in a difficult situation.
2. Be cross-trained on all functions as needed
3. Proven track record of showing initiative and creativity
4. Superior written and verbal communication skills
5. Strong understanding of Underwriting, new Business and Producer Services Department workflows.
6. Experience providing the highest quality service to the field force, insured and underwriting staff.
7. Must be proactive in servicing the customer and providing top level of service needed to exceed their expectations
8. Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
9. Met excellent performance expectations in previous positions as evidenced by meets/exceeds or exceeds expectations on two recent Job Performance Evaluations.
10. Dependability as evidenced by good attendance record
11. Good PC skills and systems proficiency (Vantage, Excel, MS Word, etc.)
