The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is responsible for the effective execution and operation of the Department of Defense (DoD) medical mission, which is to provide medical services and support to specified categories of individuals entitled to DoD medical care.
This position is located in the Program Executive Office (PEO), Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS),under the policy guidance and direction of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs)(OASD(HA)) in Arlington, VA. As a Chief Medical Officer, you will be a subject matter expert for a variety of clinical informatics, user integration, practice management and change management pertaining to clinical systems, electronic health care training, clinical workflow integration, curriculum design tools into the clinical workflow in support of high quality healthcare delivery.
