#### Primary Responsibilities
This position will be primarily responsible for coordinating and assisting with the overall field research operation in accordance with policies and procedures. This is a full time position in York, NE.
#### Reporting to
This position reports directly to the Facility Manager and indirectly to the Operations Manager
#### Specific responsibilities
Initiate and develop business opportunities with sponsor representatives.
Continuously manage research sites ensuring optimum performance and results are achieved.
Provide report status to clients in timely matter.
Regularly monitor all projects to ensure they are completed, as per project protocol, within timeframe and budget.
Complete field research documentation, which includes electronic field notes, photographs and field note books, on a timely basis.
Ensure compliance with all USDA, EPA, FDA and Sponsor rules and regulations.
Provide guidance and support to personnel conducting project evaluations, GLP applications and sampling events to ensure quality results.
Responsible for staying current with technical/industry practices and updating methodology as appropriate.
Serve on and support internal/external technical committees as required.
Audit operations to ensure the staff is utilizing safe procedures while conducting tests and that housekeeping procedures are in compliance with Industry standards and Company policies and procedures are maintained.
Assist in other areas of the company as needed providing leadership in corporate projects.
Promote responsibility, good work habits, a positive work environment and improve customer service
#### Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Master's Degree preferred, Agricultural Sciences, or other related scientific disciplines.
A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of direct transferable and increasingly responsible experience in small and large plot research as well as in the farming industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of field research procedures, including efficacy, GLP, APHIS project management.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and/or groups both within the organization or while representing the organization.
Ability to build and lead an effective team and foster a sense of collaboration to achieve goals.
Effective problem solving and analytical skills, with proven ability to see a project through to delivery within budget.
Able to partner effectively with multidisciplinary and multinational teams.
Excellent time management skills which includes the ability to balance multiple projects concurrently (with different deadlines) and to organize the resources necessary to accomplish them.
Maintain current knowledge of rules, regulations and advances in technology as it relates to the position.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Must be proficient in MS office software. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Must be proficient in MS office software.
Must have a CDL and Commercial Applicators License
Travel is required for this position.
Must be able to work in a small team environment and participate in all activities in a small research facility.
