Location Description
Brighton Hospital has provided medically managed susbstance abuse/addiction treatment for over 60 years. In that span of time, services and campus facilities have grown and currently provide inpatient detoxification, rehabilitation and counseling, as well as outpatient services. Brighton Hospital is an integral component in the full integration of a leading edge behavioral health continuum of care driven by consumer need and demand with multiple points of access.
Job Summary
Facilitate and lead Intensive Outpatient and Early Recovery group and didactic sessions. Manage documentation and insurance authorizations. Effective written and oral communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of the organization.
Minimum Knowledge and Education:
State of Michigan license in respective discipline.
CAADC certification at the time of hire.
Certification in BLS within one hundred twenty (120) days of employment and maintain current certification thereafter.Master''s degree in counseling, social work or psychology.
3 years of work experience in chemical dependency counseling inclusive of experience obtained under a Bachelor''s degree.
5 years work experience in chemical dependency counseling inclusive of experience obtained under a Bachelor''s degree, preferred.Clinical Support Services
Organization: Brighton Center for RecoveryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
