# External Job Description
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Review personnel security clearances and periodic reinvestigations using e-QIP, JPAS and JCAVS, Provide security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnel, Secure and maintain all personnel security clearance records Maintain document and visitor control records; coordinate visit requests, Assist FSO with self-inspection and review of security processes to ensure compliance with NISPOM, Enforce standards for a secure environment for the protection of classified information, Assist and coordination for all DD 254's classified contracts received and issued Support other security disciplines as needed: Information, Personnel, Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission or SWFT, Foreign Travel, Physical and Communications Security.
Position requires frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, standards, general application of concepts, and principles. Successful candidate must demonstrate the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks. Position requires a positive, can-do attitude.
# Basic Qualifications
Must have completed applicable DSS courses. Must have a Bachelors degree with at least 3 years of experience in government/industrial security or an Associate's Degree with at least 5 years of experience as an government/industrial security Professional. Military experience and other training may be accepted in lieu of degree or years of experience at the discretion of the hiring manager. Equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
Must have an active Secret clearance, and knowledge of NISPOM, JPAS and e-QIP Must be able to interpret and implement security policy and guidance and provide oversight and assistance to staff Must be able to demonstrate by knowledge and experience the ability to help the FSO implement and manage a comprehensive Security Program. Candidate must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office with history of excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and communication skills. Position requires the ability to respond to after hour alarms or emergencies. Must be able to juggle competing demands and prioritize work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment.
# Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Certifications include any of the following: FSO, COMSEC Custodian, CDC, CSSO, CPSO and US Citizen.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
