Job Summary
Under general supervision and utilizing the Nursing process, plans and renders professional nursing services to meet the needs of customers/patients on a nursing unit or specialty area.
Required:
RN Requirements:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing.
Valid BLS Certification and ACLS certification
BLS must be as follows: AHA (American Heart Association) BLS Health Care Provider card or its equivalent which is an American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Card.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Nurse Tech Requirements:
We will also consider graduates who have recently graduated from an accredited School of Nursing program. Those who are hired and do not have their RN license will be hired as a Nurse Tech and must have their board date scheduled within 4 months of graduation. Once the RN license is obtained, the new hire's job title will be switched to a Registered Nurse.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Recent patient care experience in a hospital setting.
