### SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to manage Clinical Service programs by managing field initiatives and developing program enhancements to provide, promote, and support the company's clinical initiatives. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Extensive business travel is required.
### ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Support, communicate and execute all clinical programs and initiatives in conjunction with RxVP's, PDM's and the Pharmacy Business Development team under the direct supervision of the Director of Field Clinical Services in Pharmacy Operations.
Supervise and help manage the implementation and training of clinical services programs.
Serve as a Clinical Services Department resource to field operations and associates for continuation of Clinical Programs under operational direction.
Develop communication with local preferred vendor representatives to review contract provisions for effective pharmacist's recommendations to increase sales.
Assist in the organization and support of health screenings in field locations.
Explore additional areas of opportunity for Clinical Services to generate revenue.
Collaborate with members of the Clinical Services team to implement disease management initiatives.
Develop and maintain communication with Pharmacy Associations, Governmental Agencies, and Businesses to identify possible patient initiatives and determine feasibility for expansion into company wide programs.
Develop, implement and continually update clinical programs.
Manage and support clinical residency and shared faculty positions.
Assit with lobbying efforts to further the expansion of pharmacy practice.
Serve as a field resource to other professionals, professional organizations and pharmacy schools.
Manage and support, along with our College Relations team, our APPE Pharmacy Student Rotations.

### Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
This position requires the following:
Pharmacist's license.
Bachelor''s degree (BS), Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) or equivalent in Pharmacy, plus three (3) years'' experience in retail and/or clinical pharmacy; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The associate should also have experience with negotiations, management, and clinical training. It is helpful if the associate has completed the Pharmaceutical Care Module Certificate Program, Diabetes Education Certificate Program, and Nutritional and Vitamin Certificate Program.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
